<p>Beer is flavoured by the addition of a potassium isohumulate as a bittering agent to either the wort of the fermented beer. Preferably the potassium isohumulate added is substantially free of most of the lupulones and other more water-insol. resins contained inhops. Preferably the additives is used as a soft extract contg. 10-25% of water. The potassium isohumulates are superior to the corres. sodium salts as bittering agents for beer.</p> |
