The tractor drawn agricultural implement for preparing soil for seed sowing has a larger roller (1) followed by a smaller roller (2). The spindle of the larger roller is supported between arms (5) connected at the top to traction levers. The spindle of the smaller roller is mounted between arms (9) each with telescopic sections, and attached to the spindle of the larger roller. These two rollers are also interconnected by two upper arms (18, 20) each end, connected at a common pivot axis, so as to adjust to differences of the distance of the two rollers. One of these arms (18) carries a gear pinion (17) which meshes with another pinion (16) on the axis of the larger roller. The gear pinion on the arm is mounted on a spindle carrying a chain pinion driving a chain pinion on the spindle of the smaller roller.
