The leaf (1) is hinged to the frame by a hinge assembly (6). The frame (3) is provided on both vertical, as well as the upper horizontal legs with a section (4) projecting from the face of the wall by a dimension equivalent to the thickness of the door leaf (1) so that in the closed position the leaf is flush with the protruding section (4). The hinges (6) are mounted on the external surface of the projecting section (4) and the centre of the hinge is set off from the inner surface (5) of the frame (3) by such an amount that in completely open position of the leaf (1) the inner surface of the leaf is in continuation of the inner surface (5) hereby allowing the max. free width through the door opening. In the closed position the set-off position of the projecting part (4) results in a substantial sealing surface between leaf border area and the frame.
