PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an engineer or other technical staff to enable to finding the cause of problems that occur in a remote facility, without having to visiting the remote facility. SOLUTION: A manufacture network 102 on a manufacture site and an intra-network 104 in a company or the like of a remote site, in a view from the manufacture site, are VPN-connected via the Internet 132. An engineer at a remote site communicates with an engineer on the manufacture site via the Internet (VPN) and the engineer on the manufacture site sets units 126, 128 to be examined into examination-enabled state. The engineer in the remote site operates a computer 156, while acquiring images from a digital camera 112 and a web camera 114 and information from an ICT tester 120 via the Internet (VPN), remotely controls an examination controller 124, to proceed with the examination of the units to be examined, and tries to find the cause of trouble that occurs in the units to be examined, or the like.
