摘要 <p>The supercharger has few moving parts. A fluidic flip-flop valve (1) admits a certain amount of exhaust gas alternately to one of two compression tubes (4, 5). The high pressure exhaust gas compresses the air in the tube and discharges it through a non-return valve (6, 7) into the air inlet manifold (10) of the engine. The suction created behind the volume of high pressure gas admitted to the compression tube (4, 5) opens a second non-return valve (11, 12) to admit air for compression in the next cycle. The compression tubes are interconnected by control lines (17, 18) which, when pressure rises in the compression tube (5), opens a discharge valve (13) in the other tube (4), now at the end of compression, to discharge the exhaust gas into the silencer. The exhaust valve (14) in the tube (5) is operated in the same manner by the other line (18).</p>
