<p>The tractor-mounted ground cultivator is particularly for use in tree plantations, the cultivator comprising a frame with a driven cutting tool. The tool (13) is movable at right angles to the tractor travel direction, being typically mounted on a slide (9a, 9b) coupled to a hydraulic ram (18, 19), and working in a slot in a flat plate (5) on the frame. The portion of the slide above the slot can be coupled to the ram, while that below it is equipped with the tool and driving motor (14).</p> |
