PURPOSE:To make it possible to edit a picture in a short time without dirtying the original, by superposing a light transmitting medium onto the original and by writing existence positions of picture information and indication of editing processings required for editing onto the light transmitting medium and by reading them. CONSTITUTION:Light transmitting medium 11 is superposed onto original 12, and position information indicating the region of picture information and indication information indicating commands of the editing processing required for the editing processing are written onto this medium 11. Light transmitting medium 11 is scanned by canner 1 to read position information and indication information, and the position on the original is calculated by reference detecting circuit 3 and is sent to position registering circuit 4 in respect to position information, and indication information is sent to edit indicating circuit 5. Next, original 12 is scanned by the control of editing circuit 5, and picture information is sent and stored into picture buffer 6. After scanning, picture information stored in picture buffer 6 is called into edit memory 7 by edit indicating circuit 5 and is subjected to the editing processing. |
