A pinion motor is provided to effectively accommodate thermal expansion of the motor shaft. A pinion motor includes a pinion formed on a front end of on a motor shaft(12) of the pinion motor which is supported by a counter-load side bearing and a load side bearing. The counter-load side bearing has an inner ring(14A) fixed to the motor shaft and an outer ring(14B) fixed to a motor case. The load side bearing has an inner ring which is interference-fitted with the motor shaft, and an outer ring which is clearance-fitted with the motor case. The motor shaft is biased toward the counter-load side bearing by an elastic member. |
