APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPLAY OF 3-D IMAGES IN MOBILE TERMINAL

A mobile device having a function of displaying stereo images and a method of displaying stereo images using the mobile device are provided to display more natural stereo images to a user and alleviate the user's eye strain by using an image shifting/clipping technique. A mobile device having a function of displaying stereo images includes a stereo image acquisition unit(20), an image processor(200), and a display unit. The stereo image acquisition unit captures left and right images to generate an image signal. The image processor converts the left and right images acquired by the stereo image acquisition unit into pixel strings according to an image conversion ratio. The display unit outputs the left and right image pixels as a stereo image according to binocular disparity.
