The invention concerns a fastening device for application of measuring tape to a measuring point at which a measuring peg is arranged. The measuring tape is placed in a recess in a metal plate A designed for the fastening. A second metal plate B is joined to plate A by hinge. Metal plate B, when fastening the measuring tape, is folded across plate A and the two plates are screwed together at the side opposite the hinge. In plate A there is a hole which fits the upper flange of the measuring peg. This hole passes into a smaller hole, which fits the body of the measuring peg. In plate B there is a narrow slot, which lies precisely opposite the aforesaid smaller hole. In this slot, the starting marker of the measuring tape will be visible during the measuring. |
