PURPOSE:To prevent leakage from the lower end of a coil by a method wherein a reaction accelerant for the resin to be injected or impregnated is attached to a collar on the end surface of the lower portion of a coil. CONSTITUTION:Out of insulating collars 17 to be inserted into a gap on the end surface of a unprocessed coil, a collar 17A on the bottom surface of the coil is coated with a material beforehand which effectively accelerates the reaction of resin to be injected or impregnated. By this prior processing, the injected or impregnated resin will not leak from the joint to which thermohardening resin 15 coated on the bottom surface of the coil, mold releasing paper 11 and synthetic resin wound on the core 10 of the coil, and mold releasing paper 11 and a layer 16 of resin on the outside circumference of the coil are connected, thus making it possible to obtain a coil of good quality. |
