PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer material free from sticking phenomenon and superior in recording sensitivity by providing a thermo-melting ink layer on one surface of a substrate and another layer of thermo-sensing material containing a specific material with an excessive cooling property on the other. CONSTITUTION:A thin film 13 is formed by coating one surface of a substrate 11 such as a film, including PET and cellophane, and paper with a material which is solid under the normal temperature and is turned to be a liquid, being melted or dissolved by heat, under the excessively cooled contitions (e.g. bentyl triazole, phenacetine). Moreover, on the other surface of the substrate is provided a thermo- melting ink layer 12 consisting of a coloring agent such as carbon black and a binder such as wax, thus the aimed thermal transfer material being obtained. In addition, excessively cooled conditions can be extended in duration by considering the combination of the compounds having the excessive cooling property. EFFECT:The thermo-sensing material is not accumulated on a heating element. |
