<p>PURPOSE:To realize a thinned and miniature tape recorder by removing an idler switching mechanism by providing a one-way clutch, by employing a center capstan system and by equipping a lower transmission mechanism consisting of a series of gears. CONSTITUTION:Power transmission mechanism 33 of the tape recorder is equipped with capstan gear 54 fitted on capstan shaft 52 positioned in the center, a couple of reel gears 28 and 128 fitted on reel shafts 16 and 116, and intermediate gear 56. Consequently, reel gears 28 and 128 corresponding to reels 12 and 112 on the take- up side and supply side are rotated in parallel and through one-way clutches 18 and 118, either reel is turned. Thus, the one-way clutches are utilized to remove an idler switching mechanism and the belt drive system can be substituted with a drive system consists of extremely-thin gears combined.</p> |
