<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to attain automatization on a tape recorder side while obtaining information the setting of various conditions corresponding to the kind of a tape, etc., only by reading the contents of a bar code, by providing part of a main cassette tape body with a bar code containing information regarding the tape. CONSTITUTION:Along the flank opposing to the opening window of main cassette tape body 1, bar code 6 is provided and the bar code 6 is used to record information on tape 3, e.g., that regarding the setting of various conditions corresponding to the kind of the tape. Then, photo sensor 8 is provided which corresponds to bar code 6 when the cassette tape 7 is loaded in the cassette room of the tape recorder. Consequently, since the information on the setting of various conditions corresponding to the kind of the tape, etc., can be obtaned only by reading the contents of bar code 6, the setting of a bias, equalizing, etc., can all be automatized on the tape recorder side.</p> |
