<p>PURPOSE:To obtain industrial water, etc. by a method wherein liquefied natural gas is humidified by atomizing seawater to combustion exhaust gas and one portion of the seawater is recovered as fresh water with moisture in the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:The seawater is sent into seawater atomizing nozzles 20 from a seawater conduit 19, and exhaust gas is humidified in a combustion exhaust gas conduit 18. The combustion exhaust gas humidified is introduced into a dehumidifying tower a from a gas inlet 2 through the first wet gas conduit 21, an eliminator 22 and the second wet gas conduit 23. In this case, the seawater mists are let fall to extracting water tanks 24, 25, and discharged from a seawater discharge pipe 26. Meanwhile, liquefied methane gas as fuel is supplied to a lower header 9, extracted from an upper header 8 through fin tubes 10, and heat-exchanged with refined water falling from an upper packed layer 5. The combustion exhaust gas contacts with cooled refined water when it passes through the packed layer 5, and moisture is cooled to temperature lower than the dew point and recovered into a water tank 1 as fresh water.</p> |
