<p>The covering has a set of parquet wooden strips (20), each formed of superposed upper, intermediate and lower layers (20a-20c). Each strip has a groove (21) on two opposite edges of the layer (20b). A spline (22) is fixed in the two grooves disposed side by side during juxtaposition of the two consecutive strips, to constitute a connecting key. A grain of wood of the spline extends orthogonally with respect to that of the layer (20b). An independent claim is also included for a method to fabricate a parquet panel from a wooden panel cut into strips.</p> |
