PURPOSE:To obtain a printer which can perform clear dot printing with a highly anti-abrasive dot element, not using an ink ribbon, by joining a constantly rotating ink roll to the dot element provided in opposition to a printing pressure element. CONSTITUTION:A guiding body 30 mounted so that it can reciprocate in the horizontal direction holds the tip of a printing element 27 slidably so as for the tip to face a spherical dot element 16. To the dot element 16 an ink roll 11 is joined constantly, and the dot element 16 is also rotated by the roll 11, which, in its turn, is rotated by a motor 3, and supplies ink constantly, while a cam 10 rotates also, making a holding member 12 and the guiding body 30 conduct one reciprocating motion in the horizontal direction and feeding recording paper 34 by driving a feed roller 35. |
