<p>PURPOSE:To set the beginning of a tape quickly by setting the beginning of the tape by letting a counter count down from a fixed initial value set in the counter by using as a clock signal a disk control signal reproduced in tape fast forwarding or rewind mode. CONSTITUTION:Random address data are stored in address register 14. In reproduction, address data recorded in a video signal are read out and stored in table address register 15. On the basis of those outputs, the value of (required address) minus (table address) is set as an initial value in counter 20 through inverter 16 and adder 17. A disk control signal obtained in fast forwarding or rewind mode is used as clock signal 21 to make counter 20 count down and when its digits are all ''0'', OR gate 22 generates a coincidence detection signal of ''0'', thereby setting the beginning of the tape. Therefore, the beginning of the tape can quickly be set by fast forwarding or rewinding.</p> |
