PURPOSE:To prevent the production of skew distortion in alpha winding one head type VTR, by phase-shifting the artificial synchronizing pulse so that it can be in phase with the horizontal synchronizing pulse. CONSTITUTION:The artificial synchronizing pulse Pk from the AFC circuit 12 is fed to the variable phase shift circuit 14, and the horizontal synchronizing pulse Ph from the synchronizing separation circuit 11 is fed to the phase comparison circuit 15, and the pulse Pf from the phase shift circuit 14 is fed, the phase comparison is made for both the pulses Ph and Pf. Further, the pulse Pf is phase-shifted so that the reproducing video signal Sd can be in phase at the time immediately after the period to be replaced with the artifical synchronizing pulse. Thus, after compensation of missing horizontal synchronizing pulse, since the pulses Pk and Pf are in phase, the production of skew distortion in the video signal Sy picked up via the switch 6 can be avoided. |
