PURPOSE:To obtain the measuring unit less in time aging change and high in reliability, by providing the inorganic member having the hole of required diameter with the member transferring the thermo-luminescence (TL) element on the light axis of heating lamp, and by detecting the intensity of infrared rays transmitting this hole. CONSTITUTION:The card 4 assembling the TL element 3(3-1-3-4) of the TL dose measuring unit is latched with the projection 8 to the card drive plate 7. To the drive plate 7, the infrared ray intensity check element 5 made of inorganic substance (metal) having a small hole 6 at the center is fitted with bonding or stop ring. The light from the infrared ray lamp 10 and the reflection light from the reflection mirror 11 are passed through with the silicon filter 14 for the infrared rays only, they are detected for the intensity of infrared rays at the photomultiplier 18 through element 5 and the intensity is held to the specified value. If the intensity of infrared rays of the lamp 10 is a given value, the drive plate 7 is driven toward the arrow A, to illuminate the elements 3-1... and the intensity is measured.
