Counter balance for tractors - has main plate fixed to under side of tractor with movement possible in both lateral and longitudinal directions

The device adjusts the loading of a tractor and has an elongate member (1) longitudinally-slidable beneath the tractor. The mobility of the member increases the counter balancing effect of a mass attached to it and can take account of the loading and any slope on the ground. The device includes device for making the member laterally-slidable. This enables the tractor to take into account unevenness in the ground. The main plate (1) can be removed from the tractor by jacks if necessary.
