#CMT# #/CMT# The structure has a set of connection tabs (4) provided between a ventilator-motor unit case (2) and a body shell (3) of a motor vehicle for permitting the displacement of the case with respect to the body shell during pedestrian impact. The case has two lateral surfaces connected to the body shell using two of the set of connection tabs (4), which are positioned one above the other, where the tabs are made of material such as steel, aluminum or plastic. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for mounting a ventilator-motor unit case on a metallic pressed part of a body shell of a motor vehicle (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The connection tabs permit the displacement of the ventilator-motor unit case with respect to the body shell during pedestrian impact to efficiently dampen the impact, thus preventing the pedestrian from the risk of injury. The connection tabs permit the case to be entirely integrated inside the body shell, thus saving space. The connection tabs are fabricated in a simple and inexpensive manner.
