Air heater for domestic fire-place - has air reservoir in flue with outlets to room and baffles to regulate flow

An existing open fireplace can be fitted with an air heating box (5,7) connected at the base with a fresh air intake (1,2) and at the top with warm air outlets (9,10) into the room. The device can be fitted into an existing fireplace without major modification. Fresh air is introduced into the room recovering heat which would otherwise be wasted in the chimney. The warm air flow is regulated by dampers in the outlet ducts. The draught of the fire is aided.
