<p>The applicator has a gluing station and a rotary support, driven on a horizontal transverse axis above the track on which the containers travel. The support has a reception and transfer segment, titling on an axis parallel to its own between a receiving and gluing sections for the strip section and a transer position parallel to the container face. The segments are mounted in pairs round the periphery of the support at intervals, the strip sections being fed to them by intake rollers and held mechanically during the gluing operation. A moving support plate between the segments extends from the feed point to the gluing station, and acts as a support from an external gluing roller, with recesses in the path of the segments and the mechanical holders.</p> |
