<p>The joints between the edges of a combination garment for protection at work and on sporting occasions, where they meet between the legs and down the front, are not sewn but are provided with a selected means of fastening. Any system is adaptable, and the range is from sliding clasp fasteners to hooks and eyes. The design of the combination garment is applicable to all existing types of garment and once secured, say by sliding clasp fasteners up the inside legs and up the front to the neck, the aesthetic or practical aspects of the garment are unaffected. The garment can be put on or pulled off without any undressing or contortion, and without sweeping the ground.</p> |
