Plastics tube is welded to a sleeve or second tube with equipment consisting of a casting for the electrical gear with a removeable heater on a top mounting; a plate carries the heater and is fixed down on bolts. Typically, the heater is screwed down to the plate and two top heated tools hold the tubes/sleeve to be welded together and are controlled by the temp. setting; theses tools are in different sizes to suit possible applications.
