<p>The lamp circuit incorporating no other inductive load has an opto-electronic feedback system for regulating the dynamic characteristics in dependence on the light output. This allows a constant light output to be maintained and independent of acoustic or radio interference over a range of different ambient temps. Pref. the feedback is provided by a phototransistor in the mounting for the discharge tube, in conjunction with inverter eg. a unijunction transistor, the base voltage varied via an adjustable resistor. The tube voltage is smoothed by a capacitor connected in parallel with thenetwork supply.</p> |
