Nuclear power station crane load safety device - has additional cross-member supporting slewing frame for arrester ropes

The safety device is for crane loads, particularly in nuclear power stations, having redundant ropes between driving motor and hook to which the crane hook cross member is attached by links on bottom hoist blocks. Below the cross-member (8) a further one (20) is attached to these links (6), and supports a slewing frame (21). The latter has further links (22) for attachment of the arrester ropes (16, 17) and an opening for the hook (9).
