The switching arrangement is intended for a claw coupling, partic. for a motor vehicle gear transmission. The axially movable coupling half (13) is actuated (via 15) by a power cylinder (8) whose pressure supply line (5) contains a pressure reducing valve (6) with switchable bypass (9). The bypass valve (9) opens (A) to admit full pressure when the rocking amplitude of the engaging claw (13) reaches a given limit, as in 2013080. To operate this valve (9), it is connected to the claw shift bush (13) via a pivoted (12) link (15, 11) which transmits this rocking motion to the valve spool.
