The brake servo housing is made from two plastics mouldings to contain the membrane and the control valve. The servo is threaded by a metal reinforcing bar to accommodate any servo forces which might strain the otherwise weak housing. - The membrane has a sliding seal over the bar, which is fitted with securing threads and nuts at each end, on the outside of the housing. |
