PURPOSE:To smooth conveyance and heighten reliability, by providing a guide means to forcibly thrust down the front end of a supplied sheet of paper or the like, guide the sheet onto a temporary stacking means and kick up the rear ends of the sheets stacked on the temporary stacking means. CONSTITUTION:The second half part of each lower conveyor belt 11 is provided with a temporary stacking surface 15 for paper money M. Conveyor belts 10, 11 are engaged at three points. Guide rollers 23 are mounted on the pulley shafts 24a of the conveyor belts 10 and are located so that the guide rollers come into contact with the rear ends of bills M stacked on the temporary stacking surfaces 15 and correspond to the longitudinal side edges of the conveyed bills M. The peripheral surface of each guide roller 23 is provided with projections 23a which extend in the axial direction of the roller. According to this constitution, both the side edges of the front end of each conveyed bill M is thrusted down and guided onto the temporary stacking surfaces 15. The rear ends of the bills M stacked on the surfaces 15 are kicked up. As a result, succeeding paper can smoothly enter under stacked paper. |
