<p>A compact relay brake valve for a towing unit and trailer has the control faces of the valve split into two sections separated by a pressure control valve. This enables a simple piston control to be used with the differential pressure provided by the two control surfaces. The piston does not require double seals and has a lower inertial mass, for a faster brake response. The valve operates with a low initial input pressure to provide a fine brake control.</p> |
