The piezo-electric arrangement is for quartz crystal products such as filter units, transmitter and receiver tuner frequency control and time interval measuring to precision standards. Other applications are to digital thermometers, pressure indicators and acceleration meters. At least two electrically-conductive, support elements are coupled to the piezo-electric substrate. There is at least one electrode on each surface of the substrate. One electrode is formed for co-operation with the substrate to suppress side-band oscillations of the arrangement. One electrode is connected to one of the support elements and another electrode on another surface is connected to the other support element.
