Hydraulic flow regulating valve - has variable orifice controlled by moving piston located between inlet and outlet
摘要

A flow regulating valve has a variable orifice that controls the delivery to a fixed characteristic. The valve has a cylindrical body (2) with two fixed end caps (5, 4). Inlet water flow (10) passes through a number of control orifices (31) and radial holes (19) in a fixed sleeve (16). An inner sleeve carries a piston (27) that is restrained by a coil spring (23). Outlet flow is discharged (11) through a radial orifice (21) the area of which is determined by the position of the piston (27). The relationship between flow rate and orifice area is approximately linear.
