<p>The present invention relates to a molding apparatus for an injection molding machine having excellent flowing and transfer characteristics during the injection molding and having enhanced productivity due to a shortened cycle time. The molding apparatus of the present invention comprises a cavity mold fixed to the injection molding machine and formed with a cavity surface for defining a cavity in which a molten injection material is injected, and a core mold formed with a core surface for defining the cavity upon engagement with the cavity mold and installed to the injection molding machine such that the core mold can be guided by a guide pin and moved forward and backward to open or close the cavity. The core mold is divided into a thinner intermediate core mold plate having the core surface and a thicker core mold support plate. A guide pin inserted into a guide hole formed in the cavity mold and fitted through the intermediate core mold plate to allow the intermediate core mold plate to be moved only in a forward and backward direction is fixed to the core mold support plate. A first spring is installed between the intermediate core mold plate and the core mold support plate, a first heating means is installed to a parting surface of the intermediate core mold plate and a cooling means is installed to the core mold support plate.</p> |
