An apparatus and a method for compensating ink droplet shape are provided to distribute ink droplets uniformly and make a thickness of a sold body uniform. An apparatus for compensating ink droplet shape comprises a stage(300) and an external force applying unit. The stage fixes a substrate to which ink droplets are dropped. The external force applying unit applies external force to the substrate so that the ink droplets can be uniformly distributed. The external force applying unit is a tilt unit for tilting the substrate. The external force applying unit is a vibration generating unit for applying vibration to the substrate.
