<p>PURPOSE:To increase package density, to compact a electronic desk-top calculator, and to improve reliability by forming a key switch part and display part in a substrate in a body. CONSTITUTION:In synthetic resin substrate 14 made of an insulator, a concave part is made, display part 8 and key switch part 11 filled with electrochromic substance EC are sealed to provide electrodes internally, and display part 8, being supplied with a digit signal and segment signal from LSI10, comes on for display. With key top 13 pushed, the impedance of the inside display substance is changed to generate a difference in potential between key electrodes 12 and 12', which is supplied as a key input signal of LSI10. Consequently, the display part and key switch part can be formed in substrate 14 in a body, the computer can be made compact while its package density is increased, improving the reliability.</p> |
