PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform and strong painting film by locating facing electrodes on the outer face of bulb while separating by specific distance thereby eliminating the temperature fluctuation on the surface of bulb. CONSTITUTION:A bulb for lamp 1 is supported by a holder 2 while facing the opening downward, then a nozzle 3 provided at the tip with a discharging electrode 4 is inserted into the bulb. Then a electrode 5 the tip of it is facing through a bulb top with the discharging electrode 4 is provided on the outer face of bulb while separating by the distance x (x is shorter than 40mm.), while a nagative electrode is connected to the discharging electrode 4 and a painting power source 6 having an anode connected through the ground to the facing electrode 5 is provided. Since the facing electrode doesn't contact with the bulb, the temperature fluctuation on the surface is considerably reduced to produce a uniform and fine painting film, while since sufficient distance is achieved it causes no spark discharge resulting in sufficiently high painting strength. |
