PURPOSE:To raise the quality of a color image pickup tube by upgrading the positioning accuracy for Nesa film stripe and a striped color filter by a manufacturing process in which a high temperature is required before the bonding process of striped color filter. CONSTITUTION:The conductor wiring 7 and the signal fetching portion 8 are formed on the glass base plate 1, and then the glass 5 is covered on the wiring 7 and the portion 8 formed on the glass base plate 1. Then, the Nesa film 2 is formed on the glass 5 and then the glass base plate 1 is ground and polished into a thin film. Then, the filter with a periodically and plurally formed three striped colors is bonded on the glass plate 12 so treated and then the Nesa film 2 is processed striped form. And, its end is provided with the hole 3 through which the glass 5 is passed, the Nesa film 2 formed on the signal fetching portion 8 is removed, and the conductor wiring 7 is connected with the striped Nesa film 4 through the hole 3 by plating. Thus, the formation of the striped Nesa film on the basis of the color filter 13 enables one to raise its positioning accuracy. |
