PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of removing sheets of paper of different kinds by stopping the turning-over of sheet of paper, etc., right after the occurrence of abnormality and by separating sheets of paper turned over up to the occurrence of abnormality from the remaining sheets of paper. CONSTITUTION:While turned over, one by one, by suction heads 1 provided to rotary cylinder 2, sheets of paper of a bundle of bills 6 loaded at bill-bundle holder 3 are counted by batch unit 90 and an optical system discriminates the occurrence of abnormality such as the mixing of a sheet of paper of a difference kind and abnormal feed. Lower-end detecting photoelectric converting elements 15, upper-end detecting photoelectric converting elements 22, a circuit receiving the output of batch unit 90 which constitutes the optical system of thid constitution are provided with different-kind discriminating circuit, real-ticket signal control circuit, different- kind thicket discriminating circuit, timing signal control circuit, etc. Right after the occurrence of abnormality, the turning-over of sheets of paper by suction heads 1 is stopped and the sheets of paper turned over up to the occurrence of abnormality are separated from the remaining sheets of paper, thereby making it easy to remove sheets of paper of different kinds. |
