PURPOSE:To simplify a processor by providing a group of an insertion/discharge mouth, conveyance mechanism and stackers and by using those mechanisms for both input processing and payment processing. CONSTITUTION:Bill 1 inserted into insertion/discharge mouth 2 is pressed against suction drum 3 through the operation of pressing mechanism 16 and then conveyed, one by one, to the 1st conveyance mechanism 4. While bill 1 is being conveyed via mechanism 4, bill identifier 4 judges whether the bill is real as well as its sort and when it is artificial, sorting valve 6a is turned to return the bill from return mouth 8 via reject mechanism 7. When bill 1 is real, sorting valve 6b or 6c is put into operation according to the sort of bill 1 and it is stored in the 1st or 2nd stacker 13 or 14 via the 1st or the 2nd roller 9 or 11. For payment, roller 9 or 11 is reversed to feed out bill 1 from stacker 13 or 14, one by one, and it is conveyed backward to mechanism 4 and wound around drum 3, which is reversed to discharge it from discharge mouth 2, so that each mechanism will be used for both receipt processing and payment processing. |
