<p>PURPOSE:A blue recording liquid having excellent recordability, ejection stability, ejection response and prolonged recordability, which provides clear recorded pictures having water resistance, light resistance, weather resistance and abrasion resistance, including a specific compound. CONSTITUTION:To a recording liquid having a specific resistance of 10<-3>-10<11> OMEGAcm, prepared by adding to a liquid medium comprising water or water and an organic solvent, a viscosity conditioner, a surface tension conditioner, a pH conditioner and a specific resistance conditioner, is added 0.1-15wt%, pref., 1- 8wt% of a compound represented by the formula, wherein Q1 and Q2 each is a naphthylene group substituted with at least an -SO3Na group. The use of this recording liquid makes it possible to conduct always stable recording and obtain high-quality recorded pictures having high clearness and no satellite dots.</p> |
