FIELD: transport engineering; diesel locomotives. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of gas diesel locomotive and its fuel tank. Proposed gas diesel locomotive operating on diesel and gaseous fuel has gas diesel engine, transmission, running gear, fuel tanks, gas bottle unit and other auxiliary equipment. Gas diesel locomotive has fuel tank for diesel and gaseous fuel attached to body frame. Said fuel tank is essentially closed container with gas bottle placed inside. Diesel fuel fills space between said bottle. Pipelines are laid to combined fuel tank to supply and remove gas and diesel fuel. Safety shells are arranged around gas bottles in fuel tank. End faces of safety shells are welded to walls of tank. Partition installed in combined fuel tank is provided with holes. Said partition divides space with gas bottles and space to which pipelines to supply and remove diesel fuel from tank are laid. Gas bottle unit can be arranged in lower part of storage battery compartment. ^ EFFECT: increased operation of gas diesel locomotive without refueling. ^ 4 cl, 6 dwg |
