PURPOSE:To improve a conversion efficiency with a simple constitution by providing an output transistor and a smoothing circuit in the output part of a differential amplifier and providing a delay circuit in the input part. CONSTITUTION:The voltage waveform of the base of transistor (TR)7 has a time delay for the voltage waveform of TR6, namely, input signal source 5 due to delay circuit 11 consisting of resistance 9 and capacitor 10, and a different potential is applied across bases of TR6 and 7 only during time delay (t), and therefore, a signal waveform where the output voltage is lowered only during this time is obtained in the collector of output transistor 20. Then, the input signal waveform is converted to pulses of width (t) from edges of rise and fall of the input signal waveform, and the number of pulses generated within a fixed time is larger according as the frequency of the input signal is higher. Consequently, when the output voltage is smoothed by integrating circuit 4, the average output voltage performs the f-v conversion operation indicated by the function of the frequency. As a result, the conversion efficiency can be improved with a simple constitution, and the circuit can be made into an IC easily. |
