PURPOSE:To enable the recording and reproduction of RAM data right after reproduction of ROM data with simple and inexpensive constitution by using the spacing between the recording tracks of the ROM data as the regions for forming the recording tracks of the RAM data so that the ROM data and the RAM data associated with said data are recorded in proximity to each other. CONSTITUTION:The recording tracks 3 of the ROM data formed of arrays of prepits 1 constitute a spiral or annular shape and the pregrooves 2 are formed between the recording tracks 3 of the ROM data in parallel therewith. A user is able to record the necessary RAM data along these grooves. Namely, the RAM data associated with the ROM data reproduced adjacently to a certain part of the recording tracks 3 of the ROM data can be recorded when said certain part is reproduced. The immediate recording and reproduction of the RAM data are thus enabled by slightly displacing an optical head after the reproduction of the ROM data even if one optical head is used.
