PURPOSE:To simplify structure by a mechanism wherein a water tank for humidification is installed inside a humidifying unit of a package type air conditioner and metallic plates contacted with a piping with a high temperature of the air conditioner are inserted into the water tank in shapes that the two surfaces of the plates are faced oppositely each other in the unit. CONSTITUTION:16a are formed by winding metallic plates with excellent thermal conductivity on a piping 15 with a high temperature and clamping the plates and the plates are contacted with the piping, and the metallic plates are inserted into water 13 in shapes that the two surfaces 16b of the plates are adjacently faced each other. The water 13 rises due to a capillary phenomenon because the clearance of the metallic plates 16b are small. Consequently, the temperature of the water is raised by heat transmitted to the metallic plates 16b from the piping 15 with the high temperature, and the water is evaporated and functions as humidification. Thus, the quantity of humidification can simply be adjusted by changing the number of the metallic plates 16b being mounted. |
