PURPOSE:To prevent the short-circuiting of electronic device by a method wherein a side face part of a circuit element is covered with glass and sealed in a glass tube. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire 2 is inserted into a supporting stand 8 of jig 7, a portion of glass tube 6 is put on a sealing part 4 and is setted on the stand 8. A filling glass tube 13 is inserted into the glass tube 6 and is put on the upper end face of the lead wire 2. A pellet 1 is put in the glass tube 13, and a lead wire 3 is inserted in the glass tube 6. At this time, a sealing part 5 of the lead wire 3 is inserted in the glass tube 6 and its under end face is put on the glass tube 13. Applying pressure and heat to the lead wire 3, the glass tube 13 is made to be softened. The lead wire 3 is adhered to an electrode 10 by pressure, and the upper and lower lead wires are connected to the pellet. The surface of pellet is covered with the glass 13 and the inside of glass tube 6 is filled with glass 12. By heating moreover to make the glass tube 6 to be softened, the sealing parts 4, 5 of lead wires are adhered closely to the tube. After cooled, it is taken out from the jig 7. By this way, mixed foreign substances are fixed by glass, and the short-circuiting does not take place afterwards. |
