<p>There is disclosed a method for removing particles from a particle-laden gas stream using an electrostatic precipitator, which comprises adding free base amino alcohol to the particle-laden gas being treated by the precipitator. The method is useful e.g. in breaking the combustion gas of a boiler system fired by sulfur-containing coal.</p> |
