<p>PURPOSE:To provide a rigid humidity-exchanging element free from waveform deformation by a method wherein a corrugated sheet material is bonded with a plane sheet material impregnated with humidity-absorbent, and processed by lamination, reinforcement, machining, and forming. CONSTITUTION:A corrugated sheet material is cut to a specified dimensions, pasted and laminated with a similarly treated plane sheet material such as paper and cloth which has been dipped into aqueous solution of humidity-absorbent such as lithium chloride and calcium chloride and dried. Then, on the edge face of the laminated member, reinforcing material such as epoxy resin and water glass is impregnated, dried or cured, and machined or polished. This provides a humidity- exchanging element having flow route in one- or cross-direction. The element so obtained is free from a chance of deforming in waveform and is excellent in mechanical strength.</p> |
