<p>The cable clip requires the exertion of a nominal force to secure a cable, and requiring the exertion of a much greater force to effect extraction. Two legs (2) project perpendicularly from a base plate (1), their lower halves being connected by a base integral cross wall. The top edge of the cross wall is concavely curved to form a cable cradle (5), and oblique cantilever cable-retaining tongues (4) project from the facing upper leg surfaces. Four identical rectangular tongues (4) may be provided on each leg, locating at regular vertical intervals, and inclining at some 45 degrees so as to slope down from the leg in the general direction of the cradle. The fitting may be of a one piece plastics construction.</p> |
